How does one keep a scooter/moped safe on outings?

I just recently got a scooter and was wondering how everyone else keeps other people from stealing them. Maybe i'm just a little too concerned, but I lost my driver's license and this is the last thing that I can drive. I dont want someone to take mine if i go get groceries or something. Right now its chained up to my car, but if I go somewhere what do I do? Do i park with the motorcycles? Do i chain it up somewhere? I do have a alarm on it, suprising..but just wondering. Thanks.

  1. Use the steering lock and get one of those horseshoe bike locks.........attach it to the front wheel.

Be careful what neighborhoods are around where you park it.

    You won't have any problems.
