How does one look into working for 'The Union'? Construction jobs,etc.?

I don't know where to begin this search for a Union Job in California? Help?

There is no "The Union" in Construction; there are lots of Unions that cover Construction jobs. It depends on your trade and the type of work.

Where in CA?

Residential, Commercial, or Industrial Construction?

What trade? Carpenter, Welder, etc

Join a Union or become an Apprentice?

Go to Dexknows.com and Search Labor Organizations for your city/state. This will get you the phone #s for the Local Lodges.
