How does one mail a rose potpourri sachet across the US?

Question

I want to make a rose potpourri sachet and send it a friend who, sadly, lives more than a couple of states over now. With the gas prices being the way they are, I can't ask anyone to drive me there to give him the sachet. How could I mail it? Would a small box work just fine? I don't want it to be lost upon being mailed...

wrap it in heroin or cocaine and dont forget to write the addressee on it!!!

Wrap it in a paper towel, and put it in a zip loc bag.....this will protect it and help keep the scent.  At the post office you can buy a padded envelope.  Put the baggie into the envelope.  You can get a 5" x 7" envelope which is a good size.

just box it up and send it to them

It's no more likely to get lost than any other piece of mail...  Depending on the size of the sachet, you can send it in an envelope or a box.
