I'm going to a party next weekend and would like to make a watermelon bowl; filled with melon balls and fruit.

Does anyone know what type of alcohol to use to soak the fruit with? Do I pour it in the watermelon and then scoop it out the next day or do I make the melon balls and soak those? And what other types of fruit can I soak. I'm a novice and need some help.

  1. Carve out pieces of watermelon with a melon baller - keep cold - fill with vodka and let the fruit soak up the flavor of the liquor - add some cantaloupe and honeydew if you like - you can use the watermelon for your presentation if you have people over and have the fruit inside it - then add the fruit to martini's!

  2. cut a small hole in the watermellon turn it so the water drains out and after that put everclear in the watermelon refrigerate over night, cut into slices and surve, as far is the fruit make purple pasion a great fruit drink use grapes pinaple pears apples any fruit will work get big bowl put fruit in 1 part everclear to 3 parts grape juice all in bowl refrige over night beware of the fruit it get you waisted

  3. you put all the cut fruit into a bowl and add clear liquor. Let it soak for a day. The End.

  4. You make a regular fruit salad (I recommend you use mostly melons) with a little lemon juice to keep the color bright then add a citrus based vodka or simply vodka and let soak for a minimum of 1 hour covered in the refrigerator. You can let it soak overnight but depending on the fruits it might get a bit soggy. If you want to add banana do so just before serving so it stays bright. Good Luck!

  5. use what ever type of alchol you like. all you do is take a merinade injector and fill it with the alchol and inject each diffrent type of fruit with it after a day or so then prepare the food as you intend. good luck
