How does one make a good YGO deck?

Name says it all. Ratio, suggestions for decks, etc etc.

First it starts of with wat kind of deck do you want then get monsters spells and traps that repsent that deck just make sure you have the right monsters spells an traps and make sure you have the right numbers of cards and then make nice card combos that go togtherr . then after that go to the local card store have about 10 duels you'll win some and lose some but your wins don't matter remenber your losses and find out what went wrong and fix it up . After that start intering an coupel of tourment and by then you should be an great duelist.

I don't remember a lot, since I haven't played in a year and the fact that I gave up on it and I gave all my cards to my not really-related cousins (I think they are). I do remember some good combos I used to have:

1. Command Knight and Obnoxious Celtic Guardian. Command Knight doesn't die out if OCG is out, so summon him out first and equip OCG with an equip card so he can't be destroyed (one of my first foolproof strategys I thought of)

2. Ever bought a jaden yuki pack or any of those new character ones? they have certain good combos on cards that show great strategies (I counted this here because I used to have them)

3.have good equip, spell, and trap cards that fit to your monster cards that could also help them.

4. One of my best, Spell Absorption, helps you get life points. The card's controller gains 500 life points whenever a spell card is used :)

5. This card will guarentee a win, it was one of my first cards, it was called, FINAL COUNTDOWN! When activated, it has an awesome ability. After 20 turns, you automaticlly win the duel (Awesome huh?)

This was my best cards and their strategies. Hope this helps from a former dueler!

you don't, insted wer'er just makeing the best deck we can make with the cards we have i have a hero deck that's better then the other hero decks but i don't have enof of the right cards to bring my deck out to it's best so i gatta get better cards but it's still a good deck!!
