  1. in any way possible; If a man is only able to blink, he is allowed to pray simply by blinking..

  2. No any Muslim is excused from worshipping Allah under he/she is not int in senses.  I have seen older people making vudhu with or without help from others using wet sponge sitting or lying on bed.  They pray will sitting or lying on their bed moving their eyes or moving their heads slightly for rukuh and sajood, sitting and standing postions they do in their minds.

It is always best for a sick Muslims that he/she is closer to Allah on death bed. With the mercy of Allah, his soul leaves the body with lot less pain than who have no closeness with Allah (God almighty).

  3. First of all, the disabled – such as the deaf, the blind, and the mute - are not exempted from carrying out the religious obligations.

Disabled persons are required to carry out their religious obligations. The blind have to be taught how to offer Salah, and should be directed to the Qiblah (Direction of Salah). As for the mute and deaf, they can offer Salah even by signs. Nowadays, schools that teach those disabled have spread worldwide. This helps in teaching those people how to pray and perform other religious duties.

  6. Al-Hadith: "Pray standing; and if you are able, then (do it) sitting; and if you are not able (to do this either), then (do it) lying upon your sides." (Bukhari)

Salaatul Mareedh is the Salaat of the sick.

Even illness is not a valid reason for neglecting Salaat!

Due to illness, Ruku and Sujood can be made by signs of the head, viz...

bending the head for Ruku and lowering it a bit more for Sujood.

For serious illness and not sufficient strength...

    Lie down to perform Salaat...

Pillows under the head, enabling the head to be raised...

The legs outstretched towards the Qiblah...

Ruku and Sujood made by indications of the head.

If illness is such that it is not possible to perform Salaat by even signs of the head...

    Obligation of Salaat is waived...

Even after recovering, no Qa'dha is performed for missing any Salaat under such extreme conditions of illness.

Unconsciousness for more than twenty-four hours is a factor which waives the obligation of Salaat...

Even after regaining consciousness, no Qa'dha is offered for the missed Salaat.

But if state of unconsciousness lasted less than twenty-four hours, then Qa'dha of the missed Salaat will have to be made upon regaining consciousness.
