How does one prepare for the SAT Subject Test in German?

Question

I want to take the one without listening. Are there any mainstream prep books or perhaps recommended vocabulary lists or grammar guides? I'd be interested to hear what people thought of it. Furthermore, is it true that the test without listening is only offered in June?!

go to http://www.amazon.com/SAT-Subject-Test-G... to get a review book-- even people who know the language well need to get used to the test format. however, i believe the german subject tests are actually offered several times a year, for more info, go to www.collegeboard.com
