How does one purchase Marijuana?

Just a note: This is complete satire. I am writing a story in which the main character purchases some marijuana. I want it to be as realistic as possible, especially since I will be showing it to some friends that are real stoners. Please help me. I don't know anything about buying drugs! Could someone please walk me through a typical drug deal?

Go to a tavern and started asking around. Don't be too eager or they will think it is a set-up.

Okay, so you go to a central spot (like a mall, flea market, store...but try to make it a lower class spot, you ARE buying weed), find the seediest looking young man there.  Ask him a couple of conversational questions, and then ask him if he knows where he can get some weed.  It sounds cheesy, but I've seen it in action!

where i live, you either go to the mall and sit in the food court but dont buy anything, and withen 20 minutes a guy will sit down and try to sell you some! Its true, its happened to me! even though i dont buy pot. Or you can go to a local skate park, basketball court outside..well thats in my town
