How does owning two cars?

both covered on the same policy maybe entitle you to double your compensation,if only one of the covered cars was in the accident.has anyone ever heard or experienced this type of situation

  2. You're not entitled to double compensation. You may receive a brake on what you pay the insurance company because both vehicles are with insured with one company, but that's about it.

  3. No doesnt sound right. You'll only be compensated for the value of the vehicle in the accident.

  5. that is weird. Each vehicle you own is covered and should be compensated only the value of the car that has been in an accident. did someone crash into both of your cars?

  6. why would you be able to receive double compensation??  If you have collision coverage, repairs are for the damaged vehicle only.  If the vehicles totaled, you receive actual cash value for that one vehicle.
