How does pay as you go mobile broadband work?

On my3 you buy a dongle for about £50, do you need a 3 sim card too? Please help me im a bit thick when it comes to things like this!

  1. You get a dongle to plug in your usb socket - it downloads its own drivers. You then need to be in 3G area for it to work. You top it up at Tesco and suchlike places - just like a pay as you go mobile.


  2. It will come with a sim card, pop it in, plug it in & you're away to go!

    Very convenient pieces of kit, but not quite as fast as regular broadband.  Not too bad though!

    Personally, I don't need one just now, but if I did need it, I'd use that service.
