  1. PayPal allows you to safely pay bills and buy items online. You open an account with PayPal by giving them your checking and/or savings account number and routing number. They then deposit two small amounts of money, less than 50 cents, usually. When those are deposited, you go back to PayPal, giving the exact amounts deposited. That verifies you have the account. If you then have a debit or credit card to back this up, you are in even better shape. From then on, you can either deposit money into your PayPal account, or just use your checking/savings account to pay for items. You must have a PayPal account to collect from other people if they buy from you and pay through PayPal. It is actually the only certified safe way to pay on the internet. Good luck!
