  1. Keep in mind that if people send you money, PayPal takes fees out of it depending on the dollar amount being sent.  If someone pays you $35, PayPal may keep $2 of it.  It doesn't cost you anything to send money.  You send money to people based on their email address.  You can send money almost anywhere in the world and in many different currencies.

  2. paypal is a kind of escrow service. a buyer sends payment to the secure paypal site. Paypal informs the seller that the money has arrived and provides the shipping address to send the goods, they can even print out the shipping label with UPS or USPS fees paid. It is especially convenient for eBay trading. I sell items internationally so Paypal is a real help in converting currency. When Paypal has experience with either the  buyer or seller, it offers additional protections to the transaction for both seller and buyer. and can act as an agent to resolve disputes.

  3. i dont know

  4. Rather than giving the seller your credit card info, you set that up with Paypal. Then, you authorize Paypal to send X amount of dollars to the seller. I believe you can set up either a credit card or a bank account.

  5. Paypal is kind of like a debit card you get with a bank account.  You tell Paypal to send money to somebody, and Paypal will take money from your bank account or a credit card and pay it off to that other person.  If you sell something, the money goes into your Paypal account, which you then have to transfer to your bank or to your credit card.  It's funny though, even if you want to use a credit card to pay Paypal, they still need to know about your actual bank account before they will let you do anything, so if you don't have a bank account, you're stuck (even if you have good credit).  The problem is that Paypal isn't a bank or credit card, so if there's a problem with a transaction (like if you're scammed or something), you will lose your money.  Also, some people have trouble converting their Paypal money back into Real Money after selling something.

  6. look it up, why are you wasting your points AND time asking a simple question that any google search will find you :P
