How does people who are weak in weight training has stronger grip?

One of my friend who is 150lbs benches 200lbs has an amazing grip and also when i go to church and shake hands with old people they have strong grip.How the h**l do i increase my grip strength.I train with weights but my grip is very weak.

  1. forearms

    barbell wrist curls

    and dumbell wrist curls(standing)

    and reverse barbell curls....they work biceps and forearms to but forearms more

    also you can grab the two heaviest dumbells you can find in your gym...and walk around with them till your grip gives...when you feel like there going to fall...hold on to them TILL you cant anymore and thensome

    do this for about 2-3 sets...i believe this is called the farmers walk? idk but it made my grip stronger

    and you can load up a bar

    with a sh*t load of weight and hold it...hold it till it gives again and then some

    and do this for about 2-3 sets

    im not telling you to do ALL of this lol

    like do the farmers walk or w.e it is for two weeks

    barbell wrist curls and reverse barbell curls

    3 sets each rest about 2-3 minutes in between sets

    then for another two weeks do the holding the bar thing, dumbell and barbell wrist curls

    for 3 sets each

    and maybe the farmers walk to but you need it to add up to 6-9  sets so...you do what you want

    thats called max ot...i think its effective...i use it and have gained about 10 pounds since i started 7 weeks ago

    btw i was looking at your questions...about the connection between leg press and squats

    well see on the leg press you can do ALOT more than squats...i can do 950 for 3 sets of 5...idk what i max out at but yeah

    and on squats i can do 200 for 3 sets of 4...so it takes alot more out of you than leg press cuz your body has to stabalize it

    i really HATE squats...like you have no idea...id rather do 6 brutal sets of leg pressing that 1 set of easy squats like doing 4 reps with 45 pounds lol

    i can never get my back straight and it pisses me off so i just get mad as h**l and walk to the leg press...today i was so pissed off i couldnt get my back straight i went to the smith machine and did them and my shoe fell off and almost killed myself...pretty bad but yeah

    really squats are harder than the leg press...and your body has to stabalize the weight

  2. that's forearm muscle my friend u must do forearm workouts to get a stronger grip do like dumbell twists benching helps all weight exercises help reallly but do some exercises to tager ur forearms

  3. If you want a better grip you need to work out your forearms thats the source of your grip
