  1. Philosophy is not necessarily fact, it includes deep thought and is an oppinionaed topic of various people in my opinion. Science is more fact and what makes sense, like what goes up must come up ya know..and religion is what people believe


  2. Philosophy is the precursor to all science.  It is, in short, the science of reason and thinking.

    Philosophy may, on occasion, address religious issues, but it is NOT a brach of religion, nor is religion a branch of philosophy.  They are two seperate schools of thought.

    This could be likened (in a general way) to computer science and chemistry.  Although we use computers to help us in chemistry, these are two seperate things.

  3. I wouldn't put science in the same category as religion.

    Science involves making a hypothesis and then testing certain physical things (chemical reactions, etc) but with philosophy all you can really do is speculate, there's no way to prove any point absolutely, you have to observe factors that all logically lead to one end.

The answer to your question is a substantial portion of the serious writings of man!  You want a simple answer?  You probably already understand science, especially since you're asking in the science category.  Religion deals with man's relationship to God, which is mostly independent of science.  In a way, philosophy encompasses both, but deals with how you think about things.  What kind of answer do you expect here?
