How does photoshop work and where do I get it?

Question

There's all this stuff sometimes about fake photos of celebrities and ghost pics that were 'photoshopped'. So could I...say take a picture of myself and put a different backround to make it look like I was standing inbetween a unicorn and a dragon with an awesome unworldly sky???? lol, just curious. And also where can I get photoshop? Is it software I have to buy? Do I just go to a website and upload my pic?

well actually yes you could do that and photoshop is a software that you have to buy it costs about 700 dollars now yeah i know its expensive but its worth it

Photoshop is expensive.  Two less expensive alternatives can do what you want:  Buy Photoshop on ebay.  Older versions are much less expensive, and Photoshop 6 and higher will do just fine.  Or download GIMP for free.  It is a very good alternative.  http://www.gimp.org/downloads   Search GIMP.  You will find free tutorials as well.

Well, first you can get it at those shops that sell soft wares. It is a software that allows you to do things with photos and also create a website design. You should buy a master collection for the software, that would be better. It works by dividing your photo into layers. The background is a layer and you can change it. for more on what to do read the instruction when you buy the thing. It is quite expensive though...
