  1. You should look it up through google.

But the chemicals in pollution, just like water from rain, go into the air, into the ozone layer.  The chemicals, being as hazardous and dangeruos as they are, eat away at the ozone layer, causing small but very signficantly-changed holes in the layer.  The holes allow UV rays from the sun to penetrate the earth, making the earth more hot and dangerous for people walk on.  It also makes the atmosphere on ground more difficult to breathe.

You should look up things related to your topic, like the greenhouse affect, and the melting of the polar areas in the north and south poles.

  2. Air pollution is the term used to describe any harmful gases in the air we breathe. Pollution can be emitted from natural sources such as volcanoes, but humans are responsible for much of the pollution in our atmosphere.

Air Pollution from Cars - The number of cars on roads is constantly increasing. Each car burns fuel, and fumes come out of the exhaust pipe and pollute the atmosphere.

Electricity and Air Pollution - We all rely on electricity to cook food, watch television and make our daily lives more comfortable. Electricity is made in power stations by the burning of fossil fuels

Air Pollution from Homes - Today, most people have central heating in their homes, but in remote areas coal is still burnt to provide heat. Harmful gases are given off which can be damaging to the

environment. In the past nearly all homes were heated in this way.
