I read that it is a special form of Vitamin B6.

Pyritinol is anootropic drug - it has been researched in Europe since 1961 for  cognitive conditions such as dementia, head injury, stroke aftermath, coma,  Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), to improve memory, concentration, and to enhance information processing and as a  Brain Carbohydrate Metabolizer. It is a syntheic vitamin.


  2. It's an anti-oxidant.  If you're getting enough anti-oxidants in your diet anyway, this will be no help.
