How does "PAYPAL" work?

Question

thinking of selling heaps of stuff on eBay and have had freinds tell me to use paypal yet none of them knew just how it works.

do i have to pay a commision?

if so, how is it calculated?

and do you trust it?

if you sell something on ebay and the winner pays with paypal, paypal does stay with some profit depending on how much the item was sold. Yes its trustable its the most trustable fast site. I love it!!

It is a credit card processor. You hook it to your bank account and people can pay by credit card and you can withdraw the money into your bank account.

Yes, Commission is about 30 cents + 3% of the transaction

Go to PayPal.com, open the FAQ link, and start reading.  All the info you want & need is there.  Commissions are minimal and fairly calculated.  As for trusting it, I've been using it for over 7 years now, and have NEVER had a problem.  Ever.  I won't sell anything on eBay without using PayPal as the payment option.  Hope that helps, good luck making millions on eBay...  ;)
