Regardless of the questioner or answerer -- them personally being of no issue to my question -- I find it amazing that the tolerant types here would abuse their thumbing powers in such a way . . . especially those that seem to consider themselves so much more tolerant than others.

  1. I'm surprised, that you are surprised. Considering that the election is coming up fast, people are polarized in different camps.

    Later addition.

Although I didn't comment or thumb one way or another on the replys to that statement. I am troubled by the V.P. previously misusing her political power to force her agenda on a library. What does this state about the candidate and power?

  2. Kids today.

  3. That's their opinions, and if others support that opinion they will thumb up it, if they do not, they thumb down. Simple explanation.

  4. I agree with the first answerer's statement.  Does that make me a hater in your book?

  5. Just because a person is tolerant doesn't mean that they are forbidden from despising ridiculous public figures like Sarah Palin.

  6. Hmmm..... I'm far more disturbed by a woman who wanted to abuse her power to ban books and is now seeking the vice presidency, than I am by silly and meaningless thumb symbols on a flippin' website.

    Abuse of thumbing powers. Pfft.

  7. You don't REALLY take "thumbing powers" THAT seriously do you?
