How does "natural selection" explain differences in ethnicities?

Question

Well those in COLD CLIMATES where food is not eaisly obtainable must develop certain traits in order to survive.

In order to survive such inhumane conditions where food is not just hanging readily BRIGHT and COLORFUL from a tree and the weather is not suitable to ones natural body armor. One would have to be INNOVATIVE, COLD, RUTHLESS, ARROGANT, and INTELLEGENT. which explains why NORTHERN EUROPEANS have dominated the world. NATURAL SELECTION weeds those out who can not survive. But it also explains why they may NOT be as SPIRITUAL and CREATIVE, and SENSUAL.....

northern europeans get less of the sun and because have a colder climate that means food is more difficult to grow southern europeans get more of the sun because they a hotter climate that means food is more easy to grow

very well and in the old hard northern world they would have been weak enough to be eliminated.In fact that must have happened.

However,  Negros can  survive better in hot tropical climates.

I'm not sure exactly what you're reading, but in regards to your first question. skin color helps with the environment you're in. Pasty europeans do not fair so well in places like africa/ desert areas without some protectant.

Jonathan made a comment regarding Guns, Germs and Steel which I am currently reading and Jerad Diamond made no such argument, in fact I'm pretty sure he would have been highly insulted by that.  JD makes it VERY clear that he believes environmental influences had the most to do with who got the GGS first, not intelligence.  I highly suggest that our Euro-supremist take a read and find that without the strong influence of the middle east (fertile cresent) the europeans and much of the rest of the developed world would not be where it is today, good and bad.

Each ethnicity has adaptations that help it survive in it's habitat.

East Asians migrated south from Siberia. They are adapted to extreme cold. They have rounded faces that become frost bitten less easily and their eyes are adapted to reduce the affects of snow glare. They also have more body fat in the layer under the skin to insulate better from the cold.  

Caucasians are also adapted to colder environments but less so than Asians. Both have lighter skin than Africans to absorb more sunlight in an environment where it shines less brightly.

It goes on and on...

There is not much reason to assume that northern climates have any beneficial selection pressure for intelligence.  The reason races are different is that they are at least partially separated populations with slightly different selection pressures.  It is only natural that they would diverge slightly.  The attributes of Cold, Ruthless, Spiritual, blah blah blah have nothing to do with adapting to the cold and are probably speculation from a biased observer.

I'd have to partially agree with "Ski"... especially, toward the end of this 'question'... seems like a racial curiosity rather than an anthropological one.

Natural selection is mostly disease, and, it has been proven that an African man adapted to his environment - just as a Viking did with his.

Let us not take anyone out of their environment to place them in Northern Europe... rather, let us turn this around....

I don't see where there is a difference. Northern europeans would deal with the harsh winters... Arabs would deal with harsh deserts, Africans would have the wildlife (Tigers, Lions, etc. and sparce food supplies)... The world is typically harsh everywhere you go, merely in different ways... Humans had to be innovative, ruthless and intelligent everywhere or they would not have survived more fierce predators.

Northern Europeans dominated the world predominantly due to having evolved faster in terms of technology.
