How does rear usb work on car cd player?

i found a pioneer cd player (bout $100) tht i like and it even has the usb imput which is a must for me BUT it comes with a little extension tht comes out of the rear of the cd player for the usb..how would this work? if the back is in the dash how do they expect me to get to it lol..im prolly stupid for askin this but it puzzles me please help me!!

  1. cd players with usbs are usually cheaper to manufacture then front usb because they dont have to change the faceplate design, they just run an extra wire out the back. You can either place your mp3 cord in when you install it but you have to leave it there or get a usb extension cable and run it somewhere easily excesible but still hidden, glove compartments and center counsils work good.  


  2. You need to buy a usb extension cable and route it out from behind the dash so you can use it.
