  1. well not only is it good for your heart and lowers blood pressure and helps elevate your mood but it also good for your endurance which means you can perform in sports and other strenuous activities better for a longer period of time

Running is a great exercise with lots of benefits including keeping your heart healthy and strong as the cardio will make your heart pump more efficiently.  It has also been proven as a stress reliever and mood enhancer.  When you run, you release endorphins which elevates your mood and can reduce depression and stress.

    no but seriously... I would give you the answer most people have given you here about the physical benefits.

    But since yea, it's probably all repeating. Here's the secret about running.

    Running is an addiction. It is therapy. Running means.. finding impossiblities and making them possibilities. It means breaking all the bounderies you have set. Proving your self wrong, accomplishing more than you could ever dream of. It's the greatest metaphor for life ( as i sadly admit that Oprah said that..) but you get out exactly what you put it. Mental disapline...running's where it's at.

  6. Well this is easy to answer. How does Running keep you in shape? well it helps with the heart yes I have to agree on that. It also helps with depression and stress yes. I also head that running can help you live up to 20-30 years longer. And it leaves you feeling healthy and strong.

  7. Distance running allows you to keep your heart rate high for an extended period of time.  This helps with cardiovascular strength.

    In general, running builds lean muscle, which is good for strength, and of course, more running.  Hills help build muscle, especially in the quads and hamstrings.  

    Sprints help build more dense muscle, and, along with weights, can lead to large muscles.  It helps with cardiovascular strength as well, because it pushes your heart rate very high for shorter lengths of time.
