How does saving electricity help ease global warming?

The electricity that comes from a nuke power plant has a zero "carbon foot print."  Saving it does nothing to stop Global Warming.   Telling you to save it, is just another way to tell you how to live.

For most people in the world with electricty, that electricy is generated by the energy created when you burn coal. This burning releases huge amounts of carbon dioxide, the major greenhouse gas that causes global warming.

It has absolutely nothing to do with global warming. Conserving energy is a smart thing to do as it will save you money, and reduce our energy needs. But it has nothing to do with global warming. That is controlled by natural processes and the sun.
