How does security work in gambia, i am thinking of renting out there, how much do the security boys get?

Hi I am married to a Gambian lady and know the Gambia quiet well.

If you are renting a Villa or Flat it depends what area you are staying in.

Average Gambian only earn £20 a month and a security guard only gets about £15 a month ( working 12 hrs 6 days a week ) If you are staying in a good area then you will not need security just make sure you get good locks for doors and windows and fit an alarm and you should be ok.
