How does sharks protect themselves?

  1. Speed.  But they are at the top of the food chain so nothing preys on them except man.  


  2. in the last few seconds before the white shark attacks a seal he is practically blind because it rolls his eyes back to prevent injury..eyes are their most vulnerable body part..

    they swim away from danger.

    the rest - why so many questions at once? seems like this isn't curiosity, but an assignment. There are too many ways for one answer - camouflage, running away, kicking, poison, etc. - but which one is used by which animal, you will have to do some work on.
