How does shepard fairey create his work?

hey. I'm studing Shepard Fairey and I cannot find any information on how he creates his work. If anyone knows anything can you please tell me. Thanks!

Silk screens using photo emulsions (sort of like old fashioned photo development - similar process). He is based out of Los Angeles. I have attached some sites that may help.
