  1. the material for solar panel itself is synthetic which means its not biodegradable.can pollute the soil if disposed improperly and can cause air pollution if it burns because it is not a natural polymer.

  2. Possibly through the manufacture of photovoltaic cells and related components there are some byproducts that pollute.

  3. Well, solar panels last for a long time, but once they are no longer usable they have to be disposed of - and they contain some kind of toxic chemical like mercury if I'm not mistaken... Although - check this company out - it recycles used solar panels http://www.solarpanelrecycling.com/.

Like any product - solar panels have to be manufactured and shipped - all of that causes pollution...

One way solar energy helps against CO2 levels is that it is what plants live off of, and plants, well, you know, take in CO2 and release O2...which is good....

    and i'm done

  4. Passive solar energy is perhaps one of the most environmental friendly concepts there is.You can do anything from heating your house to making a hot water system. It's the primary energy source used in green house's.Active solar energy has  a manufacturing process for the panels along with a collective storage system such as battery's.All though you can operate with a panel only you still need a converter and these system are deemed inefficient because they only function when there is enough sun light.

  5. It doesn't.

  6. dude it doesnt, it helps the enviorment to produce heat and other resouces
