How does someone become a Butcher?

Just like any other job - they apply at the slaughterhouse or wherever the place they want to work at is. It may require specific training not supplied by colleges, but this can be provided by the manager of the butcher shop himself.

Get a job in a supermarket's meat dept  Ralph's or Von's if you live in California if not one in your state. The training they will give you will help you to become a butcher.
