How does someone know if they are on the Canadian No-Fly list?

  1. If they considered to pose an immediate danger to the flights, in the eyes of the RCMP and CSIS, then they would be on the no-fly list.

    Unless the person was or has been engaged in illegal activities to be red-flagged by the RCMP, I can't imagine why the average traveller would need to worry about it.

Haha...my 5 year old is on it.  Apparently someone else with his first and last name is on there...when we checked in a year ago to go to Houston...the Air Canada agent did a double take at her computer screen, then said, well, he's on the no fly list, but I'm pretty darned sure he's not the one they're looking for...here are your tickets.  :)

    She recommended booking tickets using his full name (middle as well) in future.
