How does someone like Donald Trump get his start?

I would assume most people are left a large inheritance and open their first hotel or restaurant with that.

He had a rich daddy, which always helps.  But to his credit, he did something with it and built the empire further.  Way too many in his situation live a self-indulgent lifestyle and basically blow what their ancestors created for them.
