How does the Canada Immigration send out Permanent Resident cards? Do they certify them or put tracking number

I think my card was picked up by someone who no longer wants to be married!

  1. they send them to the person who emigrated by normal mail to the address that was given to the immigration officer when you landed.

    If you still do not have it - call the CIC toll free number and ask. Sometimes they are just late. Mine took exactly 4 weeks and 3 days to arrive.


  2. Just by regular mail.  It took me 2 months after landing in Canada to get it.  So, if you still dont have it, you will need to call CIC to get another.
