How does the Gymnastic people jump so high?

They have a flat platform yet they run and jump in the air while making flips. How is that possible?

  1. The platform has small springs in it.Also, gymnasts have large muscles in their legs(especially in the thighs) so it allows them to jump higher.


  2. They have a helium tank nearby and before they go out to perform they take a real big toke. That's why Usain Bolt was so light on his feet.

  3. It's a Spring loaded Floor.

  4. Well years and years of training and practice really add up. Many times the surface is slightly springy too.... and usally the gymnasts gain power and momentum before flipping.
