IPL team costs many crores.And then comes the auction.And it is estimated that top players wil be getting 12-15 million USD in 2009.Ipl winner gets 1.2million usd.So how does the Ipl team owner gets profit?

It's from the money given  as prize and those who has invested more and if the team is not playing well they get loss and teams like rajasthan sponsors have not invested lot so they get more profit!

And they too get by tickets!
