  2. I'm not quite sure what you mean by that.  Friction is a force that dissapates energy in the forms of heat and sound.  It is included under energy conservations laws; it does not violate them.

  3. Free energy is not possible, so if you're thinking about a perpetual motion machine I wish you luck, because you'll need it.

  4. The law of conservation of energy only works in theory because of friction. When you push an object over a horizontal plane it should, theoretically, never stop. But friction keeps slowing it down until it's at rest.
