How does the Ouija Board Work?

The Oujia board was really creepy! My friend and I were asking about our futures...like who is our husband, our job, how many kids, what age will we have kids, what age will we die, etc.. We wrote down all the answers and reviewed them. We swore that we didn't move the thing ourselves....We looked up our ""husbands" names on myspace and facebook and found someone that matched the description. My friend for example, asked where her husband lives and it said "las vegas". On facebook, we typed in the persons name the Ouija board said and that person lives in Las Vegas!! So how does the Ouija board work?

ive played the ouija bored and asked so many questions about my grandpa and it answered all of em i thought my friend was moving it so i asked her to take her hand off and it was still moving it was so weird....some people do belive its spirits or the devil and some just believe its your minds controlling for some reason....im not sure what i think

Even though you don't think that you and your friend were moving the planchette, you really were.  The ouija board is just a game that you can buy in most toy stores and department stores, an ordinary piece of wood or plastic or cardboard.  It has no supernatural powers.  The people using the ouija board make it work.  It plays on your mind and imagination and your susceptibilities and beliefs and fears.  It can be scary because the imagination is a powerful thing, and can make you believe just about anything.  Here are a couple of links that discuss ouija boards and how to use them.

I've been searching lately about them. I don't really know if they work or not. I've read that the spirits or whatever lie to get you to trust them so you'll keep using it. I would suggest stop using it. I'm getting the creeps talking about it.

although there has been supposed "proof" that milton bradley ouija boards actually work, i really don't think they do. i think a big part of it is the people involved moving it, even if unintentionally...don't underestimate the power of the mind.

on the flip-side, assuming it does work as people think it does, you really have no idea who/what you are communicating with so although their details may be "right" the motive or outcome might not be to your liking.

its just better, if you play with one, to understand it is usually just that...playing.

It attracts innocent people and lulls them into a false sense of believe that the board is just for cool fun and then ---the demons come and ruin your innocent fun.
