  1. Here's how it worked at the show I attended on this tour -

GA ticketholders were to arrive at the venue by 5 p.m. to get a numbered GA wristband. After 5 p.m., all wristband holders line up in order outside the venue. A random number is drawn and the person whose number is picked is #1 in line.

For example, say 1,000 people have wristbands and line up. They draw #500. The person with #500 is first in line, followed by 501, etc all the way to 1,000. Then the line continues with #1 all the way to #499, who is last in line. GA ticketholders who arrived after 5 p.m. were admitted into the venue after all those with wristbands.

At the show I attended there were several individuals handing out wristbands and organizing the procedure. They had bullhorns and were very strict. Once the order was determined, these individuals then led us to the entrance to the floor where we remained in line until we were allowed entrance to the venue. They still had security checking our purses and tickets when we went in to the venue, and checking it again when we went to enter the floor area.

You may want to check with your venue a week or so before the show to see if they post the policy to see if it's changed. In my city, the procedure was posted on the venue's web site and also announced on the local radio station that promoted the show.

Good luck and have fun at the show!
