How does the US expect to win a war against Russia when they are not able to beat the Taliban?

I don't see a way America and their NATO countries can beat the Russians when they can't even beat the Taliban and Al Qaida.THose are very poor organizations with little money compare to the US and the NATO countries.It is really a shame!!They have been fighting against these groups for almost 7 years now and everything is still in the same place.Americ ahas all the technology,money,mercenaries,people who want to be American citizens and go to war,.....Can somebody explain to me how are we going to win this war?

Uhh... for the record, we beat the c**p out of the Taliban in Afghanistan. Go look up history on the Afghani conflict.

As for Al-Qaeda? They're pretty much in hiding... much like a hibernating viper, waiting to strike. Yes, it took us 7 years, but Iraq is pretty much done with, and the vast majority of insurgents have given up on fighting there until we leave. I just hope to God that we leave the Iraqi military with all the training and tools to take over for us, after we leave.

I mean, ****... 4,000 dead? That's all the insurgency can do? Gimme a break. That's like *one* bad day in Vietnam, and one *good* day in WWII. Do your homework, sonny.

Also, quit listening to liberal US media. h**l, don't listen to conservative US media either. Media is generally a source of propaganda for profit and ratings, as opposed to a source of truth nowadays. Instead, ask some of our fine Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, and Airmen about their opinions, why not? After all, they've been there...

It's a war against terrorism that's what we have been fighting for 7 years. It's like the war on drugs, it's never gonna end. If they were just a established "army" this would've been over a long time ago.

America taught the islamic countries some of our secrets so that they could beat Russia. Russia decided it was not worth it and left. Now the same tactics are being used on us! And guess what, we are thinking that it's not worth it. The only reason we haven't beaten the c**p out of them is because of all the restrictions that the left has put on our military. How can you expect to win a war without support and all the restrictions from the left? We have won every war where the American people have supported the military and lost the ones where they didn't (Vietnam)

If America begins to care and believe that what we are doing is for the best then I have no doubt that we will win.
