How does the acting bussiness work?

Question

If you are a student who studies in an Arts and Theater School, you eventually earn your Bachelor of Arts in Stage and Screen Acting( or so it says in this school http://www.actt.edu.au/pages/home.html)

anyway, you get your diploma and then what? You look for an agent or the school does that for you, or you simply go to auditions and THEN somebody decides to be your agent?

You can do both, but an agent is a lot of help, and most agents won't ask you to be your agent unless you're really really good.
