My overall score was a 66.

My recruiter gave me a post it with these scores:

  1. It means you can join with that score, you have nearly doubled the minimum score needed. But as far as everything else, your best bet would be to go to him/her and ask... they will know the most on the subject

  2. M = mechanical

    A = administrative

    G = General

    E = Electric

    Your overall score is the 66. That's the qualification score and also reflects how you did against 17 to 23 year olds who've taken the ASVAB test. The other scores are your aptitude score for the different job areas.

    For the Air Force the minimum qualification score is 36

    Then jobs are grouped into aptitude areas and each job has a certain minimum score in that aptitude to be accepted for it.

  3. Talk to your recruiter.  Work on bringing up your score. There are books for this...

    This site may help you. But definitely ask your recruiter for specific information, study, and retake your test.

  4. You made it with one extra point. You will make it in but you may want to retake the test to get a better score.
