How does the amarylis seed to form a new plant?

i have two plants , they have both flowered , one has developed two large buds after the flower has gone . are these the seeds and how can i save them

They're called berries and inside are anywhere from one to a half dozen seeds.A berry can take as long as six months to ripen into the color of the flower, red for red and orange or green for white orange or yellow. You can save pollen in the fridge and pollinate different hybrids of your own making - fun. Just keep Googling for more info  RScott
