how does the amending process show the constitution is a living document lost in tis just help me please.

  1. The fact that it can be AMENDED shows that it "living" and can adapt to changes that WE THE PEOPLE feel are worthy of being added to the document


  2. The amendment process essentially allows you to rewrite it, therefore making it a "living document."  But since it requires a 75 percent vote so the support for any changes needs to be overwhelming.  

    That's why the new standard of playing pretend is says something it doesn't was adopted by the Supreme Court.  Instead of rewriting it they just appoint judges who ignore it.

The Constitution of the United States is NOT a "living document".  That would assume that it can be re-interpretted daily according to changing morals, values and the political climate in society.  The fact that the Constitution can be AMENDED shows that the authors knew there would be a need for ORDERLY changes to the document.
