Trying to figure out which foods are best to consume for better nutrients supplied to the parts of the body. I am not a fan of suppliments. After foods are digested how does the molecular compositions of the foods know where to go and how much to supply and discharge?

  1. that's really not how it works...you break down all of the sugars and starches that the plant has...some protein ( a lot form the beans not a lot from the grains), some small amount of fat and a few vitamins. As for what part of the body benefits...all of it...they provide the basis for the building blocks of your whole body...every cell you have will use it. How do the molecules no where to go? glucose is free floating in your blood and automatically gets taken up by the cells. Lipids have specialized structures called lipoproteins that carry them...but virtually every cell has receptors that take up the necessary nutrients. Hope this helps.
