How does the book (Morality Play) show the break from medieval thinking?

I've been in the hospital and physical therapy since the end of June due to a car accident. I'm taking AP Euro History in September, and I have to read two books. I'm reading one, but afraid I might not be able to finish the essays for both books on time. My teacher will not give me an extension (which my family is fighting). But for anyone who has read the Morality Play, can you answer or give me some basic information on the following q's?

How does the book show the break from medieval thinking?

-How important are the lives of regular, non-fiction people to the study of history?

  1. I'm sorry about your car accident...and I think it's ridiculous to not get an extension. Have your parents go straight to the principal/couselors, then things will probably be able to work in your favor.

Also, I didn't have to read that book for AP Euro, but it was an AMAZING class and I hope you have a blast in it!

p.s. I bet you could finish the books by Sept...I had to read a 500 pg. book, do 5 chapters from my AP American History book, and write an essay comparing the 2 by Wednesday...and I didn't start until this last Friday because I didn't realize we had homework...I'm also done with the book, so I think you can do the work, with the right mindset.
