How does the canadian process work?

my common law partner and i would like to move to canada. I am 21 and she's 25. I am a u.s citizen and she's a mexican citizen. what process do we have to take and who can we talk to for assistance. I am currently going to university and will be finished in 2 yrs. I am not trying to go in with the profession i am studying. can someone recommend a good lawyer please?

  2. You do not need a lawyer.  Immigration from Mexico and the US, or requests for student visas from either country have well defined procedures.  Check the website listed above, follow the procedure and you will have a great chance of success.
