at age day 1 the chicks are sexed.. males are ground up..

females get their beaks chopped off and vaccinations.. wings clipped to

then go on to grow up in crowded conditions  - fed hormones and given artificial light to hurry up the laying stage - which starts at about 5 months

kept in over crowded wire cages stacked ontop of each other.. laying eggs over and over - the eggs quickly roll away.. not even allowing the hen to feel proud..

days after days.. until laying stops allowing the hen to molt- but WAIT.. she doesnt get to molt..instead she is killed.. at about 1/10 of her normal lifespan...

a boring crappy life - cut short
