  1. Currently cannabis is a Class C drug. It’s illegal to have, sell or give away. The maximum penalty of possessing cannabis is 2 years in prison, and the maximum you can get for dealing is 14 years in prison.

If and when it becomes a Class B drug, it will still be illegal to have, sell or give away. The maximum penalty for possession for personal use will go up to 5 years in prison and a maximum of 14 years for dealing.

The Government are now talking to the Police about how the law will be enforced and what is likely to happen to people who are caught in possession of cannabis.

  2. He who buys the weed is First Class. People who bum of him are Second Class.

  3. What exactly do you mean?  The laws?

  4. What he said, except when you get caught with marijuana if you have two seperate bags or more than like 2 grams they'll nab you for "intent to distribute" which is bull ****.
