  1. Like some have already mentioned 1 euro = $1.50  As you can see the dollar is very weak compared to the euro.  I don't know what the costs are like in Memphis, but I do know Milan is one of the most expensive cities (if not the most expensive city) in all of Italy.  If you don't want to carry too much cash with you, bring your credit cards and ATM card with you.  If you need to change dollars to euros go to the bank or post office.  Don't go to one of them money-exchange places...they'll rip you off.  My parents came this summer to visit me (I'm American but live in Italy) and the exchange rates sucked.  At one my mom payed 40 dollars in commission!!

  2. I'm from italy, I ve been to Milano, just think that the euro/ dollar is about 1,50 so it's almost half more..I ve been living in milano and the best prize i could find was 300 euro p/month sharing with other 2 people..The hotels r almost 50..60 euro each night..so bring a lot of money

  3. Everything will be x3, except for rent - that wil be more like x4.
