Robert Bryne's book Standard of pool talks about the subject. Phillip Cappele has a book called play your best pool I am sure it has it in there. Also look on Youtube.

First of all, there are multiple diamond systems, depending on the situation - how many rails, which rail first, etc. Below are a series of pages that are good to start with. There are other pages in the series and if you go up a level, you can see them all. One of the best books on banking is "Banking with the Beard" by Freddy Bentivegna. Also, look for Desmond Allen's "Win at Pocket Billiards". Both of the books cover multiple systems for all kinds of kicks and banks. I also hear Robert Byrne's Standard Book of Pool and Billiards has a section on diamond systems too, and it's probably easier to find at your local library. I haven't seen it personally, so I'll leave that for others to comment on.

There is an excellent book called Standard Book of Pool and Billiards by Robert Byrne. It has illustrations and a very easy to understand explanation about how the diamond system works.
