  1. Basically, the soundwaves enter the ear and then a series of bones vibrate sending the vibrations to the cocclear and then to the brain.


  2. why in the name of the non existent deity  (NED) would you ask a question like that in Alternative Medicine.?  Do you think there is an "alternative" way of hearing????

    However...quick summary:

    Sound waves cause the eardrum to vibrate, which causes 3 little bones to move which connects to the elliptical window on the cochlea, which is full of fluid, and tiny hair cell receptors which in turn connect to the brain where the sounds are interpreted.
