  1. If it's strong current and it's unshielded and/or a lot of wires are hanging right next to a sitting area, or are in or around a room, it can induce feeling of minor anxiety (like feeling creepy or scared), and it can make a person feel like their being watched, so kind of paranoid. I don't remember exactly what they call it, but I think this is because of strong electromagnetic fields.

If your home is modern and built right, you should have no problems. The above is only in the case of a very old house or building with bad wiring or strong current close to where you are.

  2. not at all, it has no effect.

  3. Well, it allows you to enjoy all of your electronics (radio, tv, computer, refridgerator, lights, etc).  Without it, you would be living like Abe Lincoln.

  4. If you look at the way the central nervous system works in your body you will see it has to do with charges. Electric wires have a magnetic field around them unless the outgoing and return lines are together. If this magnetic field is big enough it should realistically interfere with your nervous system. That is why you shouldn't live under power lines. I wouldn't worry about your house wiring, rather worry about cell phones.
